This hotel was horrible. From check in till check out. It began when the front desk clerk was extremely short and rude. Also there was a message left for us and was never recieved. As we pulled back the covers on our bed, I was horrified to find two long black hairs, along with one small curly one (shudders). There was smears of ?, I don't even want to imagine on the chair. Dirt smears on the walls. The night desk did bring us new linen....so we could make our own bed. I couldn't... more

This dive is run by an Indian family, who "maintain" the property themselves. The only employees are the front desk staff and the maids, who do a superficial job at best. This hotel was formerly known as Comfort Inn Barstow. It is a good clean basic hotel that provides a decent location, room and breakfast for a very good price. Staff are very helpful more

We spent one night in the Comfort Inn in Barstow. The stay was ok, the room large and reasonably clean. No major issues, no highlights either. Breakfast was good for a the standard continental-type and the high-speed internet worked well. The children loved the fairly large pool. We would probably stay there again. more
