I went to the Marcan Beach Hotel back in 2006 with my husband. It was a cheap last minute deal. The hotel is very basic, the bedrooms are quite small with some strange decor going on! We had Minnie Mouse bath mats?! very old fashioned wallpaper and pictures etc, but we didn't expect too much due to the low cost.... more

Stayed here in Sept 2006. Thought we were in a cell in Midnight Express. IT was horrendous. No clean towels, loo roll, hot water unless sun shone due to solar system, lecherous staff with sweaty armpits to their waists........the list goes on!!! Olu Deniz was wonderful but highly recommend you miss this hotel. more

great location - unless you like to sleep at nite as its centred right in the main strip and music goes on til 3 am. not suitable for older people. not allowed food or drinks from supermarkets - which is crazy as they had no beer behind the pool bar or snacks - so do they expect you to starve... more

We actually booked for the Telmessos, but knew beforehand we may be put in the Marcan if it's sister hotel was fully booked. What can I tell you about this hotel? It's very clean. The bar staff are friendly. The resident photographer, Ferat, is fabulous. That's about as positive as it gets...and believe me I tried to find nice things... more
