We stayed here on December 30th 2011 after finishing The Peddars Way and it was a welcome haven. A beautifully clean, quirky room, full of character with a wonderful tub to soak in after a long days walk. We marvelled at Stuart's wonderful collection of collectables which look wonderful in this big old house. There is everything that you could... More

Quite simply; if Cromer is the Gem of Norfolk, then No 4 is the Gem of Cromer. This family run business has all of the best charms of a London Boutique Hotel, but with so much more character and intimacy. Breakfast is plentiful, and the three rooms; all on suite, are immaculate. Ten minutes walk from the train station, or... More

Stayed here last night and felt compelled for the first time to recommend it to others. The B&B has real character and my partner slept better than she did at home in the comfortable bed. But most of all the friendly welcome and attention to detail was oustanding. And the breakfast was scrummy. Recommended More

We stayed at number 4 for two great holidays. All of the good reports are true, but even these cannot express the quality of the welcome and service received here. Stuart and Debbie run the guest house because they love sharing their home, and this is reflected in all that they do to serve everyone who stays here. As so... More

We stayed in the blue room last weekend and it was fantastic - the best B and B I have stayed in. Stuart gave us a very warm welcome, with a beer and wine, and showed us where everything was - the room has books, mags, slippers, robes, hairdryer, straighteners, tea, coffee, biscuits, hot choc....even doughnuts on arrival! He gave... More

This was the third time we stayed here, it has become a real home from home, Stuarts vast collection of antiques and curios fit in well in the victorian house and provide little surprises as you make your way through the building to your room. Each room we have stayed in has always been warm clean and comfortable and well... More

Whatever positive things you have read about No4 it is much much more!! We were there last weekend and it’s the nicest and friendliest accommodation that I have ever stayed in. Having travelled extensively on business as well as pleasure, staying in some places that had all the appeal of a damaged shed on Dartmoor No4 was a breath of... More

Spent a wonderful three nights here. The house is lovely, the room beautiful, and the welcome warm, and the breakfast plentiful. It's all one could ask for in a B&B. And then a little bit more. More
