We have stayed at Phenix Lodge twice, prior to early flights from Stansted. Our recent stay was in August 2007. The B&B is within walking distance (12-14 min.) from Bishop,s Stortford Railway station. The rooms were clean and fully equipped. We didn’t try the breakfast due to early flights, but had cereals and youghurt delivered to our room. All in... more

I stayed at the Phoenix Lodge with 5 other friends for a birthday. We had 2 triple rooms. They were both spacious, clean and comfortable and a perfect base for our night out on the town! Bargain too... and a generous late check-out which was needed. We'll definately stay when we visit Watford again. I'd recommend booking a taxi though,... more

I was in London in 30 nov- 3 dic 05. My stay in this hotel were a nightmare. First I have booked my room by internet. It suppose to be a triple room. When I came to the hotel at 11:00pm they have a surprise for me. They tells me that dont have a triple room, only doubles. This nights... more
