This place has a rustic feel, mostly for mountain climbers. Interesting tho...Laid back feel, very sparse on accommodations no phone, tv, or radio. They do have wireless internet tho, but you need to be within a closeness to the lobby...I was in room 12 and the internet would not work there. But, friends were in rooms 2 and 3, they... more

Whittaker's Bunkhouse is a very cozy, clean, rustic place to rest. The cost was excellent. The employees were very friendly. The atmosphere is fun. It is not a five star resort but we had fully researched it before going and had an idea of what to expect. We stayed in room 10 which has 2 twin beds and a bathroom.... more

Since Whittaker’s Bunkhouse was originally a hostel it has a unique atmosphere. (You can read all about the history & Mr. Whittaker at their web-site ---) We stayed in room 25 which is a huge room with 4 twin beds, a somewhat small bathroom and a second sink.
