I have had the pleasure of staying at The Harp Inn for a week whilst working in the area. The room I stayed in (Room 2) is a nice light airy room with a comfortable double bed and great views over the River Wye. The ensuite shower room, although maybe a little small, is perfectly adequate. For the most part... More

This establishment has the best of both worlds. It's an excellent pub and an excellent B&B. Neither have been compromised and when you add the spotless cleanliness, superb home made food and the warm and friendly welcome from the owners and staff it makes an ideal venue for a weeks stay in the area or just an overnight stop off.... Arrived at the pub after a long journey and working late locally - 8.25pm (they were serving food until 8.30pm). I was greeted with a warm welcome able to order a meal and a pint at the bar, shown to the room with enough time to get washed and changed and come down to a lovely 3 Bean Chilli and... More

Stayed for 1 night ove Easter. No issues - a good B&B, friendly landlord, checked in 12 midday, shown to room, provided with key to come and go, good breakfast, decent room, well kept beer. Would recommend. More

We visited this small pub for our annual boys weekend in Wales. Normally we go walking but this year decided on canoeing. Stayed at the Harp as it's only up the road from Wye Vally Canoe centre. The Harp is a small pub with a great local feel. Everybody was very welcoming and Graham and Jayne are wonderful hosts. The... More

We've just returned from a two night stay at the Harp Inn and it's hard to praise it enough. Double rooms dead clean and the beds comfy. Shower was a bit weedy, but that is honestly the only fault. Breakfast was as nice as I've ever had and they keep a perfect pint. A super value simple pace to stay... More

I stayed here for night after a canoeing adventure down the Wye with my girlfriend. The owner greeted us on our arrival and from there on in the stay was fantastic. We were shown to a clean, comfortable and well equiped room with a lovely view of the river Wye, by both the owners. We were greeted almost like family... More

I've recently returned from a trip to Glasbury/Hay on Wye during which we stayed one night at the Harp Inn. The owners and staff made us feel so welcome! Fantastic Ale, cider and food, and a great night stay at this warm and friendly country Inn. There was a pub quiz being held at the bar on the evening we... More

We stayed at the Harp in order to break up a return journey from South Wales. We were received with the sort of hospitality you only ever hear about. We were shown to our room and told if we needed anything we only need ask. The beds were dressed in spotless white linens and proved very comfortable. The food was... More
