Nice place. Quiet and peaceful. Comfortable. I couldn't quite tell what the smell was from my room... it wasn't terrible though. No elevator in case you need one. There are only two floors. The wifi was average at best. I would definitely stay here again... good value.

The hotel itself is great, as has been mentioned by many other reviews. But there's absolutely no public transport whatsoever near the hotel. If you want to go to downtown SF, please add $45x2 for taxi, bringing the total cost of stay pretty close to what's offered in Fisherman's Wharf.
