My wife and I were attending a wedding in Natchez and decided to upgrade to the Eola based on what we read online. The hotel is from the good old days, and has been updated throughout the years but it still retains her charm. The decorum in the main Lobby was impressive. We asked for a romantic room(my idea so... more

This hotel has so much potential, I just wanted to ask the manager "What are you doing?" The elevators were not functioning on our arrival. We had to wait for the maintenance technicnian to adjust them. The elevators definitely have a weight load and will not operate if too many people and/or weight are on board. Upon entering our room,... more

I was nervous about staying at the Eola after reading some of the recent reviews; in fact, I decided not to reserve a room but rather view one upon arrival for comparison with those in a few neighboring establishments. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the Eola. Yes, it is dated and I am sure that it has seen better... more

I have stayed at this hotel many times. It has one of the best locations for shopping and tours in Natchez. This is a historic hotel, so rooms many be smaller than some are used to. However, this is made up for with the lobby - including the historic exhibits in the lobby. I have always enjoyed the bar in... more

My husband and I stayed at the Eola for two nights in late July. I used to live in Mississippi and love this old hotel, but, sadly it has fallen into such disrepair and is so poorly kept up that its really just kind of "tacky" now. It really pains me to see that. I really wish some developer would... more

First let me say, that this man is a gem. I asked the bartender for a restaurant recommendation since both hotel restaurants were closed. It was pouring rain, so he called in my order to a nearby restaurant who delivered a gourmet meal to the bar. He plated the meal and served it to me on white linen, right there... more

I paid for a queen, only to be given a double. At first we were moved to another double - it was a smoking room, even though I requested non-smoking. The clerk told us it was not the first time she had a guest complain about the beds. Management got involved and he was rude and a smart aleck. He... more

had two nights in the very central location of the hotel , which has genuine style. we called in the visitor centre and they made the call, and gave clear intructions to us how to dry there , very helpful for two Brits. so much good food available in the area only had one breakfast, which was fine. Bar tender... more

Let me start by saying I did not chose this hotel - we were in town for a wedding and this was the hotel recommended by the wedding party. Having said that - the hotel is nice and in a good location near the shops and restaurants of downtown Natchez. Parking is a bit limited but we never had a... more

A little bit of Old World Charm. Freiendly and helpful staff, tho' not always enough of them! Rooms could do with a bit of upgrading but clean and comfortable. Lovely courtyard and eccentric bar. Breakfast varied and willing to charge just for individual items rather than whole buffet. Nice little cafe across road. Within walking distance of all Natchez has... more
