Stayed at the Eola Hotel on June 28th, 2008. We had a room on the third floor, called a "boutique room with a view of downtown". This was our first time staying at the Eola, but we love Natchez and were really looking forward to this romantic get-away. The lobby is nice, as well as the courtyard and eating areas.... more

Last weekend we were in Natchez for a family wedding and spent two nights at the Eola. It was a great location for us-getting to the rehearsal dinner(Biscuit and Blues) and the wedding at St. Mary's. We had a king room on the 7th floor. We had small balcony with a great view of the river. Some other family members... more

Yes, it's an old hotel but I thought it was very nice and charming. The location is great as it is in walking distance of many things - restaurants, shopping, antebellum homes, the Mississippi River. The rooms in the hotel were small but very clean. The staff was very accommodating - taking a great deal of time to accommodate us... more

I have stayed at this hotel in years past and it was much better. This time was disappointing as the room was tiny, dirty and the furniture was in bad condition. The hotel needs some updating and general maintenance. It is beginning to run down. It is old and not kept up. I will not spend the money for this... more

This hotel has a beautiful foyer, lounge and courtyard. That said, I was a little disappointed in the quality of the rooms. We had the next to largest room at the next to highest price and the ceiling fan wobbled so loudly we couldn't use it. The bed had a very thin, synthetic bedspread one would find in a motel... more

We had the opportunity to stay at the Natchez Eola on our trip through Natchez. We loved what we read about the hotel, and found it to be very pleasant in style and history, however, our check-in left me wondering if I'd made the right decision. The clerk acted as if we were putting her out... then when we asked... more

We have stayed at the Eola before and stayed there again for a wedding. We returned to find the hotel in even more shabby condition then when we had been there a year before. It is a beautiful and wonderful location however it is time for some decor - i.e. sofas had holes in the them, the comforter was gross... more

My wife an I stayed here on our way back from our honeymoon. We live close to Natchez and visit often. We love it! It's a small town with so much history and charm. It's a real piece of the old south. On to the Eola...we loved it, too! It's right downtown in walking distance to everything. We had a... more

The grand public areas make the visit worthwhile. Great charm, evoking the old south and what hotels used to be. The balcony rooms are a little disappointing as the river is far away. Restaurant(s) are a little erratic. Location is great. more

We got a great rate here for a room with a balcony ($69). Really enjoyed the balcony as it overlooked the courtyard and had the sound of a fountain all of the time. Very small room...I mean Paris small!!! But the balcony made up for it. And so did the location. Walking distance for walking, shopping and eatting. Don't miss... more
