We booked a room at The Burn after checking out the website. When we arrived we were extremely happy with our choice. The grounds and the pool are the perfect setting for a southern experience. The staff took special pride in making sure we had everything we needed. From the moment we arrived until the morning we left we felt... more

My husband, three grown children and their spouses spent a delightful weekend in the Victorian Cottage at The Burn. The four bedrooms, four baths, living areas and kitchen accomodations gave us the privacy and communal space so that we could be together, yet separate. We have never slept so well. It was so much fun to have a traditional southern... more

Rooms named after the children who had lived there at the time of the Civil War. Room was interesting with period-like pieces. Our Queen bed was... more

I recommend that all travelers to Natchez and The Burn Antebellum B&B read "The Pilgrimage" by Louise Wilbourn Collier before their trip. Ms. Collier is a descendant of the Walworth family, the original owners of The Burn. This former plantation is full of history and the delightful complimentary tour (complete with a glass of wine) details some of the fascinating... more

Located in one of the historic neighborhoods of Natchez, and within walking distance of Stanton Hall and King's Tavern, this is a great place for a quiet weekend. A very friendly staff offered us a complementary glass of wine and a house tour on arrival – as well as a number of suggestions on activities in the area. The house... more

We stayed at The Burn for one night to celebrate our anniversary. We chose the Laura room - it was upstairs in the garconniere which is not part of the main house but is connected by a covered walkway. The room was large, decorated with antique furniture and art, and had a large bathroom with tub/shower. The bed was king... more

What a wonderful home and a great staff and hosts. The home is beautiful and decorated with an excellent mix of period furnishings, paintings, decorations and some modern touches. The owner was so friendly and charming and helpful. We had a wonderful tour with such great stories. There is nothing like gracious Southern Hospitality and at the Burn you get... more
