I recommend that all travelers to Natchez and The Burn Antebellum B&B read "The Pilgrimage" by Louise Wilbourn Collier before their trip. Ms. Collier is a descendant of the Walworth family, the original owners of The Burn. This former plantation is full of history and the delightful complimentary tour (complete with a glass of wine) details some of the fascinating... more

Located in one of the historic neighborhoods of Natchez, and within walking distance of Stanton Hall and King's Tavern, this is a great place for a quiet weekend. A very friendly staff offered us a complementary glass of wine and a house tour on arrival – as well as a number of suggestions on activities in the area. The house... more

We stayed at The Burn for one night to celebrate our anniversary. We chose the Laura room - it was upstairs in the garconniere which is not part of the main house but is connected by a covered walkway. The room was large, decorated with antique furniture and art, and had a large bathroom with tub/shower. The bed was king... more

What a wonderful home and a great staff and hosts. The home is beautiful and decorated with an excellent mix of period furnishings, paintings, decorations and some modern touches. The owner was so friendly and charming and helpful. We had a wonderful tour with such great stories. There is nothing like gracious Southern Hospitality and at the Burn you get... more

Charming place, Charming People, and Beautiful home! We had a great time at the Burn. From the Grits at breakfast to all the folks who work there, they made us feel at home from the first moment we arrived. The owner who is constantly trying to refurbish the home with original period pieces, takes great pride in everything at the... more

In Natchez of all places it just has to be an historic B & B. We stayed at the impressive-looking The Burn for 2 nights in April during this year's Spring Pilgrimage. Unlike previous reviewers we did not meet the owners but were well looked after by their staff. We and a friend had the Laura and the Ernestine rooms,... more

I couldn't have enjoyed my stay at this beautiful home more. With its rich history and beautiful decor, my visit to The Burn was truly the highlight of my trip to Natchez, Mississippi. I stayed in the Ernestine room, with its second floor porch, overlooking the beautiful courtyard. I spent a good part of my time just relaxing and enjoying... more

The Burn is a top-notch B&B. Not only was the place absolutely beautiful, but the owners were a pleasure to get to know as well. Everything was perfect upon first arrival. I stayed one night at The Burn in the Laura room. The room was wonderful. It has the most comfortable king size bed, a very spacious bathroom, and beautiful... more
