It was a nice hotel, close to downtown without feeling so crowded. Straight shot to the convention center. They were remodeling so there were some strong fumes, but thats to be expected when renovations are going on. They did put us on a higher floor so we couldn't smell the fumes up there. recently stayed in the isle of capri and found the experience awesome. got a bargain rate of $50 per night (cheaper to go direct than their own website) for a great size room which was spotless and had a view over looking the pool. breakfast is $5 extra. not in the centre of town but right oppisite the vast tourist... more

Hotel is nice/smells good/standard room, clean but bed was hardish. No restuarant on site-breakfast in morning only. Staff nice. right on the Mississippi River across from La. Very nice hotel near the Mississippi River. Personel were courteous. Rooms were decorated nicely, clean and nice soaps in the bathroom. Price is fairly reasonable for the quality. Had continental and a hot breakfast for low extra cost. Would stay there again in the future. Strongly recommend. more

This former Sheraton Inn has been completely redecorated and is bright, colorful, and clean. Beds are comfortable. Had a little trouble with the remote for the TV - no one was on hand to fix it. I loved the shampoo and conditioner. The location is fine - you won't be doing a lot of walking anyway. Don't know about food... more
