is small in size, quietly located on a hillside. The nicely kept grounds, the views, and the tranquility won me over immediately. Still it has been convenient to go everywhere The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable More

Staff was friendly when we arrived; the asian woman at the reception was very attentive and friendly, also the valet guy who took us to our room in a golf cart was very patient. The people at the reception on the next few days where quite indifferent to our questions and would rather see the back of us. Livingroom with... More

After staying there, so many of the reviews ring totally true to me. We arrived to a super friendly & helpful staff (and they were that way the entire time), were given tix to a manager's evening drink reception, enjoyed the common spaces, and then were taken to our room. Hardly the expansive view we had paid extra for --... More

What a good place to stay in Maui... pros, the grounds are really well maintained, good selection of breads and fruits for breakfast (included), room very clean, spacious and comfortable. Nice and quiet pool. The view is magnificent and is well located if you have rented a car, near to beaches, other attractions and shops. Cons, no much variety for... More

I was very excited to stay at the Hotel Wailea based on the reviews, the description of it being a luxury boutique hotel, and the website however this hotel has been a huge disappointment. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the friendly valet staff and the grounds looked very inviting. There was a cocktail hour in the lobby which... More

I followed comments on TripAdvisor to find this more reasonably priced yet outstanding hotel. Without the shuttle, it would have been a different experience, but being able to get driven to the beach and back daily made this an easy stay. Everyone was very friendly and the cost was much less than some of the beachfront hotels. More

Unfortunately the pictures do not let you see what you get. As with most places they show a really nice room but when you arrive...it's not what you get. We stayed at the Honua Kai for part of our stay which is a little more but the rooms are out of this world! As for Hotel Wailea, poor furniture, bad... More

We stayed here a few years ago when it was still called the Diamond Hotel or Resort. Although it is not on the beach, that is fine! We visited the hotels on the beach in Wailea and found the beach to be not so great. The rooms at the Hotel Wailea are huge and very comfortable, granted there is some... More

An overall nice place to stay. The only negative, the walk to the parking lot is far. More

Let's just put it this way - if you don't mind a hotel that's in the midst of early renovations and away from where all the action is, then this hotel is perfect for you. But they really shouldn't advertise it (yet) as a luxury boutique hotel. For the price we were paying, we might as well have paid a... More
