It was gorgeous! The lobby is breath-taking with a view of the pool grounds and ocean from it. We are a couple who travelled with our 10 year old son. Our room had a comfortable king size bed and living area with a fold out for our son. It was roomy, clean and comfortable with a great view of the... more

We stayed at the Fairmont Kea Lani for our 20th anniversary trip. It was beautiful. Our room was spacious, clean, and everything you would expect in this class of hotel. Food at the hotel is very good but crazy expensive. We bought lunch food and snacks and kept them in our mini-fridge. The only part about the hotel that made... more

It is safe to say this was a wonderful hotel and all of my fellow travelers felt pretty much the same way. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. My only complaint was the prices for food and drink were excessively high. more

We have been very lucky to stay at many Fairmont hotels, like the Banff Springs, Chateau Lake Louise, Jasper Park Lodge, Royal York, Chateau Frontenac - each one individual and unique, but this has to be our favorite! The first thing that amazed us was when you enter the lobby and see no doors or windows, just a view through... more

We stayed at the Fairmont in a Villa for the second time for our 10 year anniversary. The first time we stayed there the Villa was fresh and new and the service was great. This time, the space in the Villa was still nice but it is starting to feel very dated. Furniture old, bed not that comfortable, appliances old.... more

don't know if I would pay this much to spend nights in a hotel as opposed to a nice condo that has a full kitchen fo rmuch less, but this is a very nice hotel. we only got to stay 5 nights and were on the go a lot. However, the free canoe ride is AWESOME so do that, the... more

I really really enjoyed my stay at the Farimont Kai Lai. It was one of my relaxing trips I had in a long time. We stayed in the Ocean Front Villa and was greeted warmly by two Fairmont fabulous employees and one drove us to our room. The room was simple beautiful with contemporary furnishing, outstanding views out every window,... more

We took our 2 kids (ages 5 & 8) to the Kea Lani for spring break. We originally booked a deluxe ocean view suite, but ended up spending a couple of nights in the suite then upgraded to a 2 BR ocean front villa for four nights. There was a last minute vacancy in one of the villas and we... more

Just the kind of resort you would expect in Maui. Beautiful location, weather, first class accomodations and staff. But is it worth the $ 700.00 + per night???? Well.....I guess if you go there for a special occassion. We were there for my wife's 50 th. I got a break on the price thru Costco, got a free night and... more

We stayed here for Spirng Break with our 2 teenage sons. We went back and forth over where to stay and ended up preferring the Fairmont because the rooms were all suite rooms. Another factor was that we got a fairly good rate ( not cheap, mind you, but still better than usual) and we wanted to be in Wailea.... more
