There have been a lot of nay-sayers on this site about this property, but we give it two thumbs up! The property is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful grounds, beautiful pools, and fantastic staff. There were several beaches within a short walk from the resort, although we spent most of our time at the infinity pool. The rooms are spacious and comfortable... more

It is pretty tough to complain about much in Maui! And this hotel was no exception, we loved it. Decent snorkelling off the beach (we swam with a couple sea turtles), quiet location, long board walk that spans over multiple hotels, and lot's of places to just sit down and relax on the grass. We found all the staff to... more

We bid for a resort on priceline and at the last minute got a room for $112/night. The resort was absolutely gorgeous, right on the water, and you got to watch the turtles swim up on the rocks. The balcony of the hotel room was the perfect place to have your morning coffee, sift through brochures, or just enjoy the... more

but there is no actual beach in front of this hotel, only rocks. you must walk to either side to get to sandy part. Also, you must pay for beach chairs/umbrellas. Our room is small, average, needs upgrading. no ipod hook up, only cd player. no flat screen, no double sinks. Oh, and the mattresses are very old and extremely... more

We stayed at this hotel for two nights as we got an amazing deal through Priceline. Unfortunately the hotel has terrible customer service. We were told at check in we could upgrade our room for an extra $100 but we chose not to as nothing in the room would have changed, only the view. The rooms are very stark and... more

We stayed at the Marriott Wailea in mid January of this year. We've been to Ka'anapali before and wanted to try a different locale. We loved the Wailea area although I must caution that it can be expensive. The hotel was a little hard to locate in the dark...we did need to phone to make sure we were headed in... more

The Marriott was a nice setting. We stayed in the tower, luckily there were not many people staying at the time. The restaurants on the property were very good, although costly. We went to the shops at Wailea where there were places to pick up sandwiches, muffins, chips, etc. One of the best restaurants we found was Fred's mexican Restaurant... more

We've been to Maui many times and now prefer to stay at the Marriott Wailea. This past year, we had the opportunity to stay at this property twice and each time had an excellent experience. We'll likely try and fit in another long weekend stay again this year. Location: Located a mere half hour from Kahalui Airport (OGG), the Wailea... more

Awesome, A#1 time in Wailea and Marriott is gorgeous. If you're looking for quiet, R&R, great pool and beach areas, then Marriott is a good place to call home during your visit to Maui. Staff are truly superb and many times just made our day with their willingness to help with whatever we needed. Rent a car for a few... more

Originally was staying for business but when I saw the kid pool at the l had to add nights and bring the kids along also. Overall stayed 3 nights. Average hotels in Kahului and Lahaina were overpriced so went the Priceline route not expecting to get this location. Paid $99/night for resort. Hotel website was showing $299/night at the time.... more
