From the minute we set foot on the property I was disappointed. If you are coming in from the airport - as most are - you can't see the sign! It faces the other direction. Once we made it to the front desk, after getting lost in the parking garage (no signs), the girl behind the desk was kind of... more

Stayed for 7 nights on Marriott Points, and was rewarded with an ocean view room that overlooked the serenity pool. I am Marriott Platinum, and it was a great upgrade. Room was fine, after a week there, I like the soft bedding and now see why they tile their rooms....we tracked in quite a bit of sand and other stuff... more

I just stayed at the Wailea Beach Marriot Resort & Spa for my honeymoon and must say that it was one of the worst experiences I could have imagined. First, I must say that the location is beautiful, the resort is set up perfectly and from appearances, you almost think that you have died and gone to heaven. However, that... more

When I booked our trip to Maui, it was very spur-of-moment. We used airline rewards miles to book our plane tickets and needed a "cheap" place to stay also for the week. I decided to try Priceline for our hotel and as locations I choose Wailea and Ka'anapali since I heard that is where the "action" was. The hotel that... more

Wonderful hotel. Setting and views were amazing. Not the best hotel for kids unless you want to just hang around the pools or beach. Awesome Golf within minutes. Sunset over the infinity pool at night. You can't go wrong with this hotel. more

Good place to stay in Wailea. On beach, close to other resorts, great walking trail. Next to shopping mall with restaurants and cafes. Good golf across the street. Several good pools. Rooms were well sized. more

This was our fourth trip in 10 years to the Marriott Wailea. My wife and I were married there 10 years ago when it was the Outrigger Wailea. The fist trip was spectacular, with service that you would expect from a place that expensive. The second (5 yrs after being married there) was very good. The third (7 years after... more

Marriott service and accomodations were up to their usual high standards (we own 2 timeshares with them and have stayed at numerous Marriott hotels). We've never stayed here before but we found we really liked Wailea. It's beautiful, and while it's a bit removed from Kihei and Lahaina, there's plenty to do nearby - shopping, eating, recreation. If you're looking... more

I'm almost finished my nine day stay here. The Hotel, grounds and staff are all excellent. The location is great and you don't really have to go anywhere else unless you want to. You need to rent a car if you are going to explore. I rented one for three days only and that was enough to see a few... more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wailea Marriott. There was construction going on during our stay, and our room's beach view was obstructed a bit by the construction, but overall our stay was almost perfect. The bed/mattress was very comfortable and we had a nice Lanai overlooking the beach. The restaurants were nothing to write home about, but we... more
