Stayed here just the one night on the way from East Cost to Wanaka. Good base to visit both Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers. Walking distance to restaurants and activity bookings. The motel is pretty functional (limited kitchen facilities, smallish bathrooms, tv) and located very close (5 mins walk) to the departure point for most of the treks onto Fox Glacier.
