We stayed in Misty Peaks for one night during our RTW trip. It was the only B&B we had, but definitely the best B&B we have ever had. The room was very beautiful with nice furniture and private exit to the terrace with a view to the mountains. The bathroom was also nice and warm. The bad had electric heating... more

With a B&B, it's the hosts that make the difference. Lea and Dave purpose built this B&B a few years ago, and do a fantastic job. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Great room, everything was spotless, views of Mount Cook from the property, well cooked breakfast with the option of an evening meal cooked by Dave which was very useful,... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Misty Peaks. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and the house is gorgeous. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which is a large room with walk in robe, and it has a large spa bath. It was worth the upgrade. The breakfast/dinner were delicious. The location is walking distance to town. We... more

Sorry to only have one night with Dave at Misty Peaks. Fabulous setting, comfortable rooms with a mountain view and the best shower in New Zealand. We thoroughly enjoyed Dave's banter and his cooking - a very amusing and enjoyable stay! more

Arrived late and left early, but the accommodation was nice, with big rooms and very friendly hosts. Most recommended. more

From the moment we arrived at Dave & Lea's B&B we felt at home! Misty Peaks is a large, newly built house which is clean and very comfortable. Dave and Lea's service was a lovely blend of "professional" and welcoming friendliness, it really felt like we were staying with friends. Once settled into our room, we were invited to join... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our first kiwi "hosted" experience at Misty Peaks. Our visit was during the off-season, however, the place was full. Initially we were booked just one night, but decided to extend another night. Each night we were able to meet and chat with other travelers from the US, Australia and Spain. David & Lea were gracious hosts and... more

Stayed 2 nights at Misty Peaks, enjoyed everything about the place, we had a lovely room which was spotless, comfortable and spacious, loved the bathroom too. Lovely food, Dave is easy going and made us feel very welcome. Lovely wine and cheese served as a pre-dinner treat, nice touch. We would definately stay there again. more

Misty Peaks is a 5 bed bungalow purpose built as a guest house on the outskirts of Fox Glacier village with beautiful views to the southern alps and Mount Cook from the verandah. Our room was large, well furnished with easy chairs and a comfortable bed. The ensuite bathroom was fully stocked with good toiletries and quality towels. Dinner is... more

The room and bed were excellent, but what I most appreciated were the quality points that other B & Bs lacked. First, the tiles of the bathroom floor were heated! Who thinks of doing that. Second, the shower was the best I have ever had. Super water pressure and a shower head that I have to get for my home... more
