A very pleasant place to stay as others state. Roomy enough and comfortably appointed. The weather was very cold and we kept the room warm but the electric heating method must be expensive! These cottages are very well kept and are well appointed, the landlady is very pleasant and accomodating. The views outside are breathtaking, you would not get the same views by staying in the village. I suggest you stay here and enjoy the views, and if you were to stay more than one night you would be extremely relaxed. more

Franz Josef Glacier is a small place and accommodation options can be limiting. We found this cottage on another website after finding many hotels fully booked.
