Only two real hotels in town, so not much choice. But US$250 a night-- and cockroaches, no toilet amenities, and meal service that's timed not to match the few air flights in and out of the place? At least there could be toilet paper in the restaurant toilets.

Truly awful place. Terrible food - disgusting and grossly over-priced. Incompetent, surly, bad-tempered and unhelpful staff. Run-down dingy rooms which have not been refuribished since the Mezies ere. Only for govt employees wanting to scrimp and save on travelling allowance. Avoid at all costs. There are much better options in Kavieng.
hotel room and accomodation clean and satisfactory. Food highly variable, [lobster cocktail excellent but another choice of fish tough and inediable] and breakfast coffee to be avoided. Staff friendly. Located in the centre of town and you can walk to all local sites of interest.
