There is really no difference from the Courtyard Marriott in NYC and the Courtyard Marriott in Macon, GA. They are always clean, comfortable, and a bit overpriced since breakfast is not included. I usually stay at a Courtyard because they are nicer than no frills, but a step down from the Hilton (helping my wallet). They are a safe bet... more

We bid "Macon North" 2.5* on Priceline for $42. At that price, this hotel was fine since we were only staying one night on our way home from Florida. This hotel is showing its age. The lobby is fine, but the room felt more like a 1 star. Example ~ the Marriott has been non-smoking for a few years now.... more

We stayed here for one night on our way from Nashville to Orlando. The lady at the front desk was friendly and the check-in process was fine. We stayed in a room on the first floor, and the room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The problem with this hotel is the poor construction - the walls and ceiling... more

MARIOTT CORPORATE...you got some explainin' to do with this property. Bathroom was not cleaned after last guest...still dirty towels hanging on door, dirty, used soap in tub, etc. Worst of all, my 2 year old daughter kept finding "stuff" in the room...some woman's lipstick from under the bed, some old used kleenexes, and a sock. NASTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $150 per night...that's a... more

I love Marriott hotels and this is the first time I have been disapointed. Front office staff were great and very helpful but one day our room was not cleaned at all. Breakfast was okay but all rather brusque and hurried. Ask for a quiet room as close to the interstate and very noisy. more

The rooms is furnished alright. The lobby is fine. There is certainly some serious evidence of wear and tear in the room and around the hotel. They appear to be doing some refab right now, so it may look nicer soon. However, the thin walls and ceiling really take any remaining luster out of this place. The sound of a... more

The hotel is going through some renovations, but didn't inconvenience me in the slightest. Room smelled fantastic. Beds were super comfortable and high speed internet connection was really free. Washer and dryer were available near the exercise room. Detergent and softener available at the front desk for no charge. The machines cost a buck a piece. This came at a... more

I used my company travel agency to stay for a night. The hotel lobby is clean and the staff very helpful. The guest rooms, lobbies and elevators are old and need maintenance. The guest rooms are old and cramped. The work area and desk is nothing to speak of. I only stayed for a night and didn't have the typical... more

This hotel is hands down the best of the ones I have stayed at in Macon. Clean rooms in good repair, the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not just the standard continental -- they had scrambled eggs or eggs made to order, oatmeal, grits, waffles....the full spread. I would definitely stay there again. more
