As others have said, this is a Euro style hotel similar to many B&B's where there are large rooms with shared bathrooms in the hall. It is cute but not outstanding. This floor has 4 individual bathrooms that open into the hall. Twelve rooms share those 4 bathrooms. We had no problems having a bathroom available anytime we needed it.... more

We opted for the least expensive rooms with the shared bathrooms and had absolutely no complaints about the cleanliness or decor. They were a terrific value especially with the off-season rates. Stayed there for 2 nights. Easy walk to the ferry to British Columbia. Nice little town. Felt safe, even at night. Restaurant downstairs on corner, very good and also a donut shop. Opens at 6am so you can take donuts on the ferry. Hotel is very clean. No elevator but stairs manageable. Take a room in the back or side.... more
