A lot of the town of Port Angeles was more run-down looking than I expected. As other reviewers have stated, this hotel is no exception & doesn't look impressive on the outside. However, the room was spacious & clean & the owners are very friendly & knowledgeable. My only complaint is that the curtains, while they provided enough privacy, did... more

My husband and our 2 college aged students found this hotel using comments from trip advisor. We generally stay in major chain motels/hotels, but decided from the comments to give this motel a try. The personal attention that we received was wonderful. The rooms were very clean and more than comfortable. Our original booking was for a room with 2... more

My husband and I just recently traveled to the area and loved our visit. I had found this motel via the internet, read everyone else's reviews and decided to take a chance. It was worth it! We got a great rate (via AAA), the motel owner is a wonderful lady who goes out of her way to help her guests,... more

The previous reviews were right on. When we first drove up I wasn't impressed. The outside sure is a cute yellow, but the building and parking lot is pretty run down looking. However, the manager checking us in was super friendly and helpful. You can't beat the location for an early morning ferry trip. The room was very clean. Quality... more

Stayed here in September of 2008 and was very impressed. I got into town early and wanted to check in to a place, then do some sight seeing. I'm used to hotels having a 4 pm check in only and this was before noon. I called and the manager said she could accomadate me in less than 30 minutes and... more

We loved our stay here. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The room and bathroom impeccably clean, the owner and staff super friendly and helpful. We received a generous off-season rate, all with a smile and obvious appreciation for our business. The rooms are basic but all anyone would need. Ours had a small fridge and microwave. If you need... more

All the reviews previous were correct! Adorable little saffron motel. It was like stepping into the 1960's in this old little motel but stepping when it was first built because it was in great condition. It was amazingly clean, sparkling actually. The rooms had ample space complete with micro and fridge and large cable TV selection. Very nice place indeed! more

This is an older motel, but the exterior is well-kept. It is a small, two story motel - not hotel. There are just enough parking spaces for the number of units. The managers are attentive and go a step beyond to make sure that your stay is pleasant. We arrived late in the evening. The next day, I went down... more

I stayed here for one night but was impressed by the friendly staff and cleanliness. I will say I was a tiny bit taken aback by the provision of Christian literature - books and print outs about saving my soul and so on, not just the customary bible. Clearly the owners are serious about their faith and want to take... more

My husband and I stayed at the Royal Victorian for a few nights in Sept of 07 while visiting the Olympic Penninsula and BC. I'm usually not a fan of motels (outside entrance), but it received excellent reviews so we gave it a try. What a pleasant surprise! The staff was VERY VERY friendly and quite helpful when it came... more
