I stayed in this hotel during a convention at the Salt Palace in October 09. Most of the hotels in the area was booked, so I kind of stayed here by default. However, I was very pleased with the hotel. Nothing overly fancy about it, but it's not a dump either. It's in a very good location in downtown, near some nice restaurants & small bars/grills. The short walk to the convention center wasn't bad. There is a complimentary shuttle that parks outside of the hotel every morning, runs about every 15-20 mins. Or a taxi ride to the Salt Palace Convention Center is only about $5. This hotel has a full breakfast every morning that was actually very good. There is a small shop inside the hotel for late night snacks, drinks or other small items for purchase. Although I didn't use it, it looks like by the pool area there was a small fenced in, roofed area that had chairs an a fire pit.
