We stayed five nights on a business/pleasure trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they knew how to get around town. The room was clean, but the air conditioner did not work well, the room was either too hot or too cold and we never changed the thermostat. The AC had a mind of its own and made noises.... more

We stayed at the hotel for a meeting one weekend and it was a very pleasant experience. Our room was fine and the restaurant met all our needs. The only downside was what I thought was an unnecessary charge to use a computer for checking email. At a hotel like this I expected it to be free. The hotel has a very nice... more

By far the most friendly and helpful hotel staff of any hotel I've ever stayed at! This hotel is a little bit older, but has been well taken care of and is in good shape. Great location! more

Of all the hotels I've experienced in SLC, this one is easily the best value at $89.00 a night thru Expedia- what a deal! Traveled to SLC for an extended weekend with my wife without the kids. Staff was very polite and check-in was efficient. We were upgraded to a junior suite, which was a bit bigger than the standard... more

This hotel is so nice inside it has a Chihuly (They told me it's real) chandelier hanging in the atrium. The atmosphere is nice, pretty quiet, seems business-oriented, kind of mild contemporary. It's one of those places that kind of nickle-and-dimes you though, with overpriced eats and drinks, business center (at least last year), etc. This is probably because you... more

This is my 5th stay at this hotel. Its location is near the University with really nothing around, but if you have a car, you're within a five to ten minute drive to downtown and many restaurants and bars. The location is ideal for me vs. a hotel in downtown is because of parking. Parking here is free of charge... more

Situated about 4 miles from downtown Salt Lake City this hotel is sited in its own grounds. As its title suggests it is in the university section of the City and close to the mountains which makes the views quite spectacular. The atrium of the hotel is spacious and offers comfortable facilities within the complex. The rooms are clean and... more

This is one Fine hotel. Best of all, the service and TLC was Way beyond anything I have ever seen and I have stayed at hotels all over the world including Dubai. We were there for a reunion of the 27th Infantry Regiment, Wolfhounds and we were treated with such joy. One of our finest veterans, Danny Rivera, was treated... more

Marriott University Park was by far the worst hotel of the 11 we stayed at during our 3500-mile driving trip through the western U.S. & Canada. Although the front desk staff was friendly, they were not able to resolve our problems. On our arrival night, air conditioning was inadequate (and then just shut down). There was no engineering staff on... more

This Marriott was pretty nice. As often found in Marriott's, I thought the room was a bit on the small side. The location is very nice, staff was very pleasant. All around, a decent place. more
