Recently my sister, my boyfriend, and I visited Cave Junction. We had reservations at the Erin Lodge for two nights in one stay and one nights stay with a day in between. When we arrived the hostess told us she did not tolerate lateness at breakfast. Sort of a rude welcome. We arrived on the 22nd. and expected to stay the 23rd. and the 25th. My sister became ill on the 22nd. and we needed to leave on the 23rd. Since there was a two day minimum, we expected to pay for the 22nd. and the 23rd. even though we left the morning of the 23rd. due to illness. The owner said we also had to pay for the 25th. which was charged to our credit card. We were charged $400.00 for a one night stay and a breakfast for two which was, to say the least, inadequate. Breakfast was an egg dish over an English muffin, a tiny slice of watermelon, juice, and coffee. We asked for a refund to our credit card for the third day, but the owner said absolutely not.
