The hotel is in a good safe location. Within walking distance of the beach. The hotel was clean, staff was nice, rooms were great. Hotel is getting tired but but only needs a simple redo. Would stay agian!

Friendly and accomodating staff along with a great location make this a property deserving of your stay! On a trip with my sisters and had a lovely time--close enough other places we wanted to visit. We visited North Padre Island and Mustang Island.

We absolutely loved the location, cleanliness, staff and it was within walking distance to the beach. Breakfast was excellent too with many choices to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel, you won't be disappointed.

Stayed two nights here in April 2013. Beds were comfortable and clean (no bugs of any kind) but room is old and tired looking. The hotel did have some areas that needed some attention. I am pleased to say that since they hired new management they have resolved alot of the troubling issues!! We stay here once a year and I will not be changing my status any time soon!

Excellent service, rooms & location! Definitely would recommend it to a friend or family member! Right across the street from the gulf & within a hour drive from all the tourist locations and still far enough away from the city to offer peace & an incredible view!
