My husband and I along with our 2 daughters stayed at the LaQuinta in Brownsville and were very pleasantly surprised. The price was right (we paid $74) and had a very clean room. We had nice, clean bedding (not thread-bare sheets or stained as other hotels we've stayed at). The bathroom, towels, and carpeting in the room were all clean... more

This hotel seemed somewhat out of control. There was a threatening atmosphere. The management seemed to condone outrageous behaviours by guests. Complaints were ignored. It seemed a scary place to stay. more

Each time we go to visit family in Brownsville, we try a new place that is less than $100.00. This is the first property (after 2 previous) that my husband and I visited where when we left, we noted that we would be willing to come back to again. We didn't hear other guests. Flood lights didn't keep you up... more
