Last winter my husband and I decided that we had had enough of the cold and snow of Ontario and that it would be nice to spend it in warmer weather. After many questions , much discussion and research we decided on Rio RV Park in Brownsville Texas. Their brochure showed a nice clean park with decent size lots, heated pool and activities, free internet and long distance calls to Canada. We called for reservations in February 2007 for the winter of 07/08. We told them that we had a 35" 5th wheel with 3 tip -outs. They told us that there would be no problem and that we would have a premium lot.
We arrived in Brownsville as scheduled and after registering at the office we were led by the owner to the back of the park to our lot.
What a surprise !!!!!! The lot was narrow with crumbling asphalt as a pad for the trailer and no patio to speak of, we barely had room to open our 8' x 16' awning and there was no yard space. Even worse than that was what was right on... more
