We stayed here one night so that we could attend a friend's wedding.

The first room we were given was a wreck. It smelled like smoke, the A/C didn't work (summer + Virginia!!!), the bathroom was dirty, the furniture scary & the window didn't work.

The staff was very nice & accomodating about getting us a second room. The second room's A/C worked, but it was the type of place where you're scared to sleep in the sheets.

The bathroom was pretty gross. The swimming pool (it does have one!!) looked green to me. Every time I got into the elevator, I thought I was going to die because of the creaks, groans, and cramped space.

The location was a little hard to get to because of the one way streets in Petersburg and the views were of the parking lot & the shady other businesses & hotels nearby.

If you're a weary traveler, stay a little bit North of this stop. However, if you're looking for the cheapest option in Petersburg... more
