We held a family reunion in Albuquerque in conjunction with the Balloon Fiesta and stayed at the Mauger B&B. The location is great for walking between Route 66 restaurants (even fresh sushi) and old town sites/museums (which are both kid friendly and adult interesting). With a three generation family of 15 including 4 children under 6, we took a town... more

I had a meeting at the Hotel Albuquerque (1.25-1.5 miles away) and waited too long to book, so I was forced to find another choice. I'm glad I did! The staff at the Mauger Estate B&B were great, and were able to accommodate my need for a Federal government rate. They simply charged me for breakfast (which came out of... more

I chose the Mauger B&B based on reviews by Trip Advisor. I was not disappointed. I quickly forgot that my room was on the third floor because all the other accomodations, the top being a friendly, warm welcoming atmosphere from the owner Tammy and her staff. Tammy is as authentic as her B&B is historic. She and her staff set... more

My wife and I were staying for almost three weeks at this B&B. We felled in love with this place because of the owner Tammy, who is a really nice person. Besides that I guess she is the one of the best cooks in ABQ. I'm sure we had the best breakfast in ABQ. The rooms are really nice AND... more

From the moment you open the door, you're enveloped in the scents of warm cookies and tea. This century-old house is lovingly restored and comfortable, and the owners are thoughtful and welcoming. I would recommend this B & B to anyone visiting the Albuquerque area who prefers a quiet place to stay. more

What a gem in the heart of Albuquerque, The Mauger is a beautiful Victorian house close to downtown and within walking distance of Old Town (40 minutes). The room were nicely decorated, all with their own bathrooms. We found the staff & owners very pleasant & helpful with some excellent suggestions for dinner. I liked that the owners did not... more

I recommend this place. There are younger people that stayed and older. The owner and staff were very helpful but not to the point of annoying you. The breakfast is very good. There was always fruit and granola and cereals. There was also always a meat and some type of bread or muffins along with a casserole of some sort.... more

We stayed here on two separate nights, the first night checking in late. The "self check-in" was easy and there was a welcoming note on the door of our room. The next morning we partook of a delicious breakfast and the young woman in charge was very friendly and helpful. We loved our first-floor room with a door opening to... more

The Mauger Estate B&B was a great alternative to the big hotels downtown. I was in town for a string teaching conference and chose the more cozy B&B over the big-name hotels. Tammy was a friendly hostess and catered to the needs of all the conference-goers in the house. Two mornings, I had to be out before breakfast, so she... more

This is a wonderful oasis in the city. Beautifully restored home with a fascinating history. The rooms are well maintained and of a nice variety. The breakfasts are wonderful with a nice variety of sweet and savory dishes and always fresh fruit and yogurt. Evenings there is wine and cheese and the ability to socialize with other guests. I will... more
