We stayed one night, getting in very late and leaving very early, so we didn't have much time to enjoy the hotel. However, this hotel has been updated and is nice. The parking is in a secure lot. The lobby is clean and bright with a retro look. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms newly updated and are very nice.... more

my boyfriend and i arrived at the hotel blue on june 12, 2009 in a pretty foul mood. we'd just come from a less-than-enjoayble stay at the hyatt regency albuquerque where i'd been at a conference for work. our thoughts at the time were something along the lines of, "if the $160/n hotel was that bad, what the hell is... more

Not quite a boutique, not quite retro, not quite a great location. Everything was not quite great, but nothing was bad. Outdoor entry is a little dated, but everything else was good enough. more

A no frills hotel which was once a pretty prominent hotel in Albuquerque. We got in pretty late and were greeted immediately. The parking was gated which was nice... a little extra security. The room was clean and had a nice flat-screen TV with many channels. The beds were extremely comfortable - posturpedic beds! Breakfast was great, a lot of... more

The hotel is located right on RT 66 and the edge of downtown ABQ. Starting about 11:00 p.m. and running through the night, this is a route for motorcycles...loud ones. And there seems to be a lot of engine revving. I asked in the morning if there were rooms that were less noisy and they said, "Next time ask for... more

I travel quite often and I usually stay at hotels like Hyatt or Double Tree however I read good reviews on this website about this hotel and I decided to give it a try. I am very impressed with the great service I received, I was picked up right away from their free shuttle when I arrived at the airport.... more

For the budget traveler, this hotel has it all- great, Tempurpedic beds, large flatscreen television sets, two high-speed Internet stations with a printer, warm cookies in the afternoon. The staff was generally very helpful- I arrived at 10:30 AM, and the desk clerk managed to get me in my room by 11:00AM. The room had exceptional amenities, including such unexpected... more

This felt like an old 50's/60's tourist motel that had gotten completely run-down, and now new owners are trying hard to restore it. Depending on what you were looking at at any given moment, you might be turned off by the decay and dirt or impressed by the polish and extras. The lobby, pool (although it seemed to be closed... more

1) we're extraordinarily picky people - we want a great deal for a tiny price. The Hotel Blue is one of those. We have a Tempur-pedic at home and was pleased to learn they had them in this hotel. 2) the outside of this building doesn't thrill me but the room was clean and simple, with a huge flat-screen TV,... more

nice decor good sized rooms with free wifi and big comfy bed although annoying bathroom whereby the wash hand basin is open to the bedroom so any light in the night will disturb anyone else not awake. however very good price for the good location in downtown (which is like a ghost town in the week) more
