We were hesitant at first to book a stay with a hotel that did not have a website, but we were pleased to have chosen the Thurber House. We were also surprised to hear that the B&B had been booked all week. The property is lovely and very nicely furnished. The hostess was very friendly and accomodating, and breakfast was large and sastisfying. Should we find ourselves in that portion of Connecticut in the future, we will stay again. The only things to note are that there is no air conditioning, you should bring your own shower supplies (shampoo, etc), and you can pay only by cash or check. more
