We were unsure of what to expect after reading the reviews, but this was the only hotel that could accomodate our need for 10 rooms on such short notice. EVERYTHING pertaining to our stay was wonderful. Check-in for all families went smooth. The rooms were very clean and roomy. The beds were clean & comfy. (great sheets) The staff was... more

We should have known better than to stay, when the lady in the lobby was rude. But it was late and we were tired. The bed was old and very hard. We could hear outside noise. And their was a black widow in our bathroom. We stayed somewhere else the next few nights. more

I would give this one star if it cost more, It's hard to be upset about a room with clean sheets for $45 a night. The Wifi did not work, which I and my companion needed for work. We decided to put up with it rather than leave. Also, the office was under construction so the breakfast was in a... more

Better than most complimentary breakfasts, this one included high tech waffle maker, boiled eggs, orange juice, good coffee, cereal, bagels, thomas muffins, fresh fruit, and newspaper. Rooms and bathroom clean and spacious, new fridge and microwave, shower nice and hot. This is a good home base on 101 near beaches, bluffs, and redwoods, or great if passing through and need... more

I said in Rm 133 on 6/23/08. The was a little dirty. The continental breakfast was a little fruit which was all gone but one bad apple, stale fruit loops and no milk, waffles and no syrup. I left to contour pillows behind and called them 6 hrs latter and they gave me excuses in three consecutive PH. calls. they... more

I recently stayed at the Econo Lodge for 9 days. Work and pleasure trip. I have previously stayed at Lighthouse Inn, Crescent Beach Motel, and Curley Redwood Lodge, all worthy establishments. Econo Lodge was very clean and has a refegerator, microwave, instant hot water for showers, coffee pot, 60+ channels w/ HBO, in-room wireless internet ,AND, a KING size bed.... more

Stayed here enroute from Washington state to California. It is not a 4 star hotel-motel but then neither was the cost. This was not our destination but rather a rest stop to spend the night and head off the next morning. The price was fair $68.39 not including 10% tax. The room and beds were clean. The bathroom and shower... more

Geography - The Econolodge is in the outer skirts of Crescent City. Small typical ‘Inn’ right next to the 101. Friendly guys in the lobby that for some reason gave me the impression that they couldn’t understand a word I was saying - but responded correctly. Room - Small, typical lay-out. There was quite a bit of noise coming from... more

This was a terrible experience!!! The room was old, the lighting bad, paneled walls, not quite clean. There was not even milk with the breakfast. No pool. I would never stay there again. more
