My group shared two really outstanding condos, each with two master bedrooms, a gas fireplace, and flat screen TVs. One had a hot tub. The setting is lovely, with a river running right by it, spectactular mountain views, and if you are lucky elk in the parking area. This is a great place tucked away on the Fall River in Estes Park. These are condo's with all the amenities including gas grills on the porch. Ours allowed us to sit just a few feet from the river, listening to the water as it rushed down stream, as we got dinner ready. The staff was friendly and very helpful.... more

Spent four nights at Riverwood in August. We had read a lot of positive reviews beforehand and found that our expectations were exceeded. The condo was spacious and immaculate. We stayed at the Riverwood on the river in February when the snow was falling and the outside air was nice and crisp. One of our all-time favorite places to stay--very spacious mountain condo with all the amenities (even washer/dryer), right on the walking path to town and the sounds of the Fall River just outside. I tend to be a bit picky and franky we couldn't find many nice places to stay in Estes - until now. Riverwood units are more like condos than cabins but they are great.
