This is our second year at YMCA with family from Omaha who having been coming for 19 years. The day camp programs for kids are wonderful our 4 and 5 year olds had a great time and we enjoyed relaxing and going on extended hikes while they were at camp. There is a ton to do and the facilities are... more

The YMCA of the Rockies is adjacent to Rocky Mountain National Park. There are two centers. Snow Mountain Ranch is on the West side of the Continental Divide. The Estes Park Center is on the East side of the Continental Divide. We prefer the Estes Park Center of the YMCA of the Rockies. There are cabins of all sizes, lodges,... more

I just wanted you to know how wonderful the YMCA of the Rockies is. When I got divorced 3 years ago, I wanted a place where I could take my 2 children each year, where we could start to feel like it was ‘home away from home’. I wanted a place, where we could find entertainment for all three of... more

Returning to the YMCA Camp of the Rockies after a 36 year absence was so nostalgic for me! It was the sight of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes summer camp that I attended with my family for many years. Walking up to the administration building was like stepping back in time. The large log structure was the same - well,... more

Best to rent a cabin if you can get one. The reservations for these get booked early. We ended up staying first in the least expensive room (1 night), then a cabin (2 nights), and finally, the more expensive room (2 nights). However, you should be able to book rooms for a full week instead of moving around like we... more

My family and I stayed at the YMCA of the Rockies for three nights. It was a refreshing change from staying a motel. We stayed in a lodge room. There was no TV , but this was a good thing. We really wanted to stay in a cabin, but they were all booked. There are many activities and we did... more

I was there last weekend and my room was infested with bedbugs. I didn't realize it till the last night and was able to sleep in my parents room, however the next day I had tons of bites all over my body. We went with a big group of people and they all had the same complaints, so be careful... more

I half jokingly say when I die I want my ashes sprinkled over this amazing place. We have vacationed here 4 out of the last 5 years and will return for a week this summer. It is the PERFECT family vacation. Inexpensive, beautiful location, so much to do for EVERYONE in the family. We initially stayed at the Alpen Inn... more

If you have never been to the YMCA of the Rockies, you are in for a real treat. Although our family usually tends to stay in luxury accommodations while on vacation, we decided to give the kids a more rustic and authentic outdoor experience by taking them to the YMCA of the Rockies. (Note: You do not need to be... more

We stayed at the YMCA of the Rockies for three nights. Our purpose was a reunion. You must remember that they are accomodating and serving meals to hundreds of people of different groups at a time. The setting is awesome! The views of Rocky Mt. Park are outstanding. The facility seemed dated -- sort of a 70's dormitory feel. The... more
