Stayed at the Silver Moon Inn on Sept. 15th and 16th. I found this Inn on tripadvisor. The rooms were very nice. Stayed in both sections. The new section with gas fireplace was very romantic. Fell asleep to the peaceful sound of the Fall River just outside the room. Owners recommended dinner at Marys Lake Lodge--excellent food, music and view... more

Pros: Location, Location, Location - A great spot by the creek and within 1 block on downtown. Avoids traffic driving into the park. Staff - Very friendly and helpful Cons Remodeling - Work done was obviously haphazard. Electrial outlets in the middle of the wall. Tile that doesn't fit. A musty smell. Tiny Bathroom - Barely could turn around Lightling... more

A great place to stay with family to explore the Park. Our room had a well-stocked kitchenette and with the barbque grills near the river, there was no reason to eat in a restaurant (which is not a bad thing given Estes Park's selection). Its not plush, but its clean, comfortable, and in a great location. more

I only stayed here 1 night, but I wished I could have stayed a week! I cannot wait to go back. The location is beautiful and right in downtown Estes Park so walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. The Fall River rambles right in front of the inn and you can hear it from Room 220 which is... more

We stayed in Room 220 in the new section of the hotel. I didn't see the rooms in the older section, but from the outside they look smaller and like they would be noisier. Room 220 was nice and clean. The "breakfast" is pretty paltry, just some granola bars, coffee and OJ, but that was good enough. It's a great... more

This is a great place to stay if you want a quiet spot right on the edge of the downtown area. I did not have a car while in Estes, and it met my needs perfectly. I could easily walk to restaurants, shopping and the Visitor's Center (to take the free Hiker's Shuttle bus into Rocky Mountain National Park). I... more

The location is the Silver Moon's best asset, with the Fall River running by the property and the convenience to downtown. It's nice to be able to park at the Inn and walk to the stores and restaurants since parking in Estes during August is almost impossible! The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Riverside rooms are preferable for the... more

I was shocked at the tiny room 205 that I was assigned to. I knew that some of the rooms were much larger than others but I thought all would be adequate consering the prices they charge. 'There was barely room for a queen size bed against the wall and room to squeeze around it. I have travelled a lot... more

Large room w/king bed, mini fridge and microwave. The staff couldn't do enough for us. We liked the place so much we stayed an extra night. Staff gave us good recommendations on where to shop and where to eat-even got my wife a toaster so she could have her toast with the coffee provided by the inn every morning at... more

Stayed at Siver Moon July 5-8th...nice place, adequate rooms. I would recommend trying the 1st or 2nd floor. We were on the 3rd floor and got a little tired of climbing up and down in the thin air.... Very convenient to the downtown "strip" area. We did have some difficulty parking in the hotel lot at times...periodically having to park... more
