My wife and I stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon. We had the sweetheart loft. This room was one of the best we have ever stayed. Courteous staff and clean room. Lets not forget the amazing view of the Rocky Mountains directly out our window. We highly recommend this place. more

We were able to book a hotel room at this pretty little inn- Booked late for a quick get away that came up quickly :) Booked one week in advance - I would not recommend this-- We paid $150 for a small but functional room for ONE night - in the new MOTEL area. We were very lucky to get... more

My wife and I reserved a room at this hotel about 100 days before our expected stay (August 2007) and put down a hefty deposit. They have a policy of not refunding your deposit (50% of the total cost) if you cancel less than 60 days prior to your stay. My 32 year old son died 55 days before our... more

Very nice quiet Inn with lovely rooms (fireplace, small efficiency kitchen) with plenty of space. Very quiet! Great location as close to town (can walk). Staffing seemed sparse, but we didn't have any problems. more

We were a little bummed when we pulled up to this place, because it doesn't look like much from the road. Once you get inside of the gate, it is great. It does remind me of a little ski chalet where I once stayed in Austria. We stayed in the Sweetheart Loft for three nights. It was clean, comfortable, spacious... more

My family stayed here the 4th of July week. It was great. The rooms were clean and just the right size for a family of 5. I could go on & on about the bathtub - awesome! The folks were helpful and friendly. The pool was great and we had it to ourselves most of the time. On the 4th,... more

Great Place to stay, Wonderful people. Great Service. Literally stumbled onto the Appenzell Inn. Had made reservations at another establishment down the road and were horrified by the conditions. Went for walk and found this wonderful Inn. Our stay was for five nights and we wished we could have stayed longer. This has to be one of the best places... more

I called the hotel and spoke to a helpful and patient person there to make the reservation. If the weekend hadn't been a holiday, there would have been some wiggle-room on the price - so be sure to ask if you book there. The Suite-Heart Loft, 1-bedroom was very clean and quiet. We didn't use the air conditioner so don't... more

After spending 5 nights tent camping, the weather was getting quite cold and rainy so we decided to book a room in town for the night. The room was clean, comfortable and warm. Our only complaint was that we could hear the tv of the people next door through the walls clearly. For a one night stopover, it was sufficient... more

Enjoyed a two night stay at the Appenzell Inn, Estes Park as a base for walking in the Rocky Mountain National Park, May 21st/22nd. Lots of accomodation in the area but found the Appenzell Inn by chance. Turned out to be very good. Exceptionally clean with modern and very well maintained rooms, could not be faulted. The owner was accomodating... more
