For a similiar price to much nicer cabins/condos in Estes, I would recommend staying elsewhere. There is very limited parking if more than one family is staying in a unit (which we were). The cabin was fairly clean, but certainly not as well-stocked as their website says. Had to buy the basics (cups/plates/napkins) at the grocery store. Pay the same... more

My husband and I and sometimes family, friends come along on our yearly trip, we also bring our two dogs, and look forward to staying at Rustic River Cabins. The cabins are just like home, but with nature and beauty, wildlife too, right outside to view. Sure the name Rustic means your in the mountains, with a fireplace, and not... more

We just got back from CO. We are from Texas, so the cool weather was wonderful! The Rustic River Cabins, are just that---Rustic. They were fine for our family, but if you are expecting top of the line, then you need to look elsewhere. We booked this property because another family that we went with had 2 dogs, and they... more

We stayed for four days in October. The cabins are small, but very clean. Do not expect the Ritz. If you have more than 2 people per cabin expect to be cramped. Bathrooms are small and the sink extends over the toilet. Management is off site, so if you have a problem it can be difficult to get in touch... more

We really enjoy Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. This was the first time we planned to spend the weekend instead of driving in for the day. We checked out the website and thought Rustic River Cabins would be a great weekend vacation for us. It was horrible!!! There were bugs in the shower and the beds. The bathrooms... more

My husband, 2 children, mother, and I stayed here the weekend of September 22nd, 2006. Upon arrival, I was disappointed at the cleanliness of the 2 bedroom cabin. It was spacious enough, but the carpet needed cleaning, the showers needed repair, there were cobwebs in the corners of bathrooms, and bedroom curtain areas. On Monday (after our return) my husband... more

Friends recommend Rustic River to us. They stay there at least once per year and we are now doing the same. I found the Rustic River cabins a very nice place to stay. The cabins are small and rustic but decorated very nicely. Very close to Hwy 34 but it seems that a lot of other hotels, etc are close... more

Estes Park is not an inexpensive place to spend the night. Still, for the cost of the cabin we stayed at (in June--cabin # 2), I felt we could've done better somewhere else. We chose Rustic River because they accept pets, however, there are other places that take pets as well. If we'd known all the problems we'd have left... more
