My wife, daughter and I stayed at Misty Mountain for 5 days, and had a wonderful time. It's amazingly convenient to both downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The owners are wonderful folks, and went out of their way to make sure that we were enjoying our stay. Our cabin, though rustic in decor, had all the conveniences... more

convenient to Estes Park, clean rooms, but $80 is paying to0 much. I stayed in room #17 on the first floor, the room was TINY. The queen size bed takes up the majority of the room, and the TV is at best a 13 inch screen. It does have a fireplace, with base board heat, but it was almost impossible... more

My wife and I planned on camping in the Rocky Mountain National Park for a few days, but when weather shut us out, we were forced to look elsewhere. On a recommendation from a local, we tried the Misty Mountain Lodge. I can't say enough positive about our stay. Yes, as some have mentioned, there are some toys in the... more

Spent our 20th Wedding Anniv. in Estes Park for two weeks. Primarily, because we love the outdoors so Estes Park, CO is the ultimate for being in nature., hiking, backpacking, visiting lakes, seeing waterfalls, taking pictures...I could go on :) We've visited the area 2-3 times before but never so close to down town. The Lodge location was perfect! We... more

We took my 87 yr. old Mom to Estes Park because she and my Dad used to go out ,for many years in September. They stayed at Misty Mountain several times. The cottage they put us in was a nice two bedroom with queen sized beds. The kitchen was well equipped if you didn't want to eat meals out. It... more

We stayed at Misty Mountain Lodge for two nights, and really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean, everything worked properly, and the free wireless was great for both my MAC and Smart Phone. The people that run this place are the best! Peter and Ellen are great to talk to, and very relaxed folks. Within less than five... more

Quiet place next to the river, two blocks away from downtown Estes Park. Close enough to the tourist attractions to walk, yet off the main path, with no crowds & traffic to deal with. more

We have enjoyed our visits to Misty Mountain Lodge for the last several years . The location is convenient for restaurants and shopping in Estes Park along a river walk and park. The rooms are not fancy but comfortable. Rocky Mountain National Park is only a few miles away where we enjoy taking pictures of elk and moose. more

Choosing accommodation in Estes Park wasn't easy, there is a big choice but also a big price to pay for a lot of places. Misty Mountain sounded reasonably priced and reasonably located and the pictures looked good so I opted for it. On arrival I was initially quite concerned. As they rightly say, there are 2 mins from the town... more
