This place delivers exactly what it promises, but what set it apart is the friendliness and helpfulness of all of the staff. It's not fancy, but it seems to have been updated relatively recently, and it is very well taken care of. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are as promised. The pool area is great for kids. The lobby and restaurant were nice and welcoming and my son really enjoyed the indoor pool. The hallways were a little dark and the room was clean, but could use a bit of updating. Bathroom very clean, which is huge for me, but again could use an update. I'm a girl, so the toiletries in the bathroom are noticeable, but... More

Hello: Thank you for your feedback. We're happy to be Estes Park's least expensive full-service hotel, typically by 50-100%! More hotel and bath updates are coming this winter. Our amenities are aloe based - as we are a green certified hotel, and are manufactured in your home state. Please visit us again and be sure to book through our website... More

The Rocky Mountain Park Inn was good value and a nice location. I would however advise against rooms on the first floor, there was quite a noisy dog next door to us and the whole floor smelt very highly of chlorine, we actually had to move rooms the first time because it was so overpowering. But otherwise very clean and... More

Hello: Thank you for your feedback. We're happy to be pet-friendly, but occaisionally a dog parent doesn't follow the rules and leaves Fido behind in the room. We are happy to address the problem within our power, or move affected guests to new rooms at any time....for any reason. Poolside rooms may smell of chlorine due to direct pool access,... More

Enjoyed staying at the Rocky Mountain Park Inn. Easy to find. My only complaint was an excessive barking dog. Complained to the front desk. The dog continued to bark and never received a followup call.

Hello: Thank you for your feedback and high scores in regards to cleanliness, location, sleep quality, rooms, and value. We're Estes Park's best value in full service hotels. We are pet friendly, but our pet policy does not allow for dogs to be left alone in rooms. We are happy to do as much as we can to help, including... More

Rocky Mountain Park Inn was nice but somewhat dated. The lobby is fresh and new but the rooms are nothing special. However, those rooms were spotless. The housekeeping staff deserve a big thank you for attention to detail. The hotel is located in a great spot. There was ample parking. We had a BoCo deal so it made our weekend... More

Hello: Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased you enjoyed so many aspects of your stay and enjoyed paying about half of what the other two full service hotels in town charge. Pets are very welcome in our first floor rooms for only $15 per night. Treats, dog park maps, and pet friendly trail maps are handed out at check... More

Rocky Mountain Park Inn has a wonderful welcoming staff (our stereotype for small western towns) and the hospitality is on par for the $$ paid. Pros: not as expensive as The Stanley Hotel (or haunted :) Very good value for the dollar large property with the main parking lot well lit AWESOME Happy Hour if you drink adult beverages (Brandon... Hello: Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased you saw the value in your stay. We're typically half the cost of the other two full service hotels in Estes. The location was awesome. Close to the Rocky Mtn Natl Park and Estes Park downtown area. The room was nice and clean and had a nice view of the mountains and the lake. Its always nice having a restaurant on premises, however, most hotels with restaurants give guests a complimentary breakfast and this one did not. That's my only complaint.... More

A lot of the furniture/fixtures/etc. are a bit outdated, but we didn't mind. What was there, was very well maintained and loved. We arrived late at night and check-in went very quickly. The staff was wonderful! A major shout out for Karen who was beyond helpful. She recommended some great restaurants. We had a BOCO coupon and still treated as if we were full paying guests. The hotel is older but they have tried to update it. Pool was great for two kiddos. Great location. I will be back for sure!
