My wife and I spent a midweek day relaxing in the sun, and it was great. She's not fond of "rustic" clothing-optional resorts, but she was really impressed by Mira Vista. Next time we'll stay more than one day. more

We have been to many, many nudist resorts across the world (30+) and Mira Vista ranks in the top 5 (maybe top 3!). Lovely casitas with pillow-top mattresses, pool towels provided. Each casita is a different size and layout. Ours was 31 and, while one of the smallest, it had a more private patio area -- you could see people... more

We decided to take a week away from the big city and head out to Mira Vista for a relaxing clothing-optional getaway. We weren't disappointed. Mira Vista is a charming, Southwest-style resort located in the quiet northwest corner of Tucson, AZ. The facility is first-class, and quite simply the nicest naturist resort we've ever visited. Reservations were easily obtained by... more

Though I have been a nudist for many years, this was my first visit to a resort. The crowd was well mixed as to age, shape and quality of tan. Everyone was gracious. The facilites were clean, and well maintained with many activities going on at the same time. I spoke with several people who were staying and they all... more

We were there in March and I was surprized at how far removed you feel from the city. It is like you are in the middle of nowhere up in the mountains. The property is OK but if you venture off the grounds beware that you are in the middle of a very undeveloped area. It was Rattle Snake season... more

Management response from

Yes, this is the desert and the usual desert animals are seen at times, but no one was bitten by a snake and airlifted out. The guest must have overheard a story that happened somewhere else. That has never happened at Mira Vista.

Mira Vista is a delightful series of free-standing and detached casitas only a few miles from Interstate 10 and a million miles from everyday stress. It's a quiet, peaceful and upscale clothing optional resort with meanderging paths through desert gardens with tall saguaro cactus and butterflies. This is definitely not one of those old-fashioned "nudist colonies" with rustic cabins and... more

We were first-timers at any nudist resort and found Mira Vista to be an experience to remember. The staff is attentive, efficient and just REALLY nice, from Leslee at the front desk, to Chef Gerard, to Jan Pitts, and to Karen the bartender, everyone went out of their way to make us feel relaxed and comfortable. The facilities are gorgeous,... more

A beautiful oasis in the Sonora Desert. Highly recommended. This resort is nestled in the middle of cactus, trees and gentle rolling hills. Off in the distance are spectacular views of the Catalina and Rincon mountain ranges. more

We recently visited this resort and found a clean, comfortable facility with excellant food. Jan Pitts and her staff made us feel so welcome and comfortable that we purchased a membership here. Now we stop in at least twice a week. Chef Gerard prepares outstanding gourmet meals that will delight your tastebuds. We found the food prices very resonable and... more
