OK, this is an old hotel, with an older crowd and I generally prefer to stay in more design places. But, the location is great, the gardens are beautiful, the rooms are large, the pool is quiet, the breakfast is excellent, there are free bikes. Everything is done for your relaxation and comfort... We had booked for 2 nights, we... more

We checked in to the Arizona Inn on 09/15/09, for a one night stay while traveling the desert southwest. This is my second stay at the hotel within a 6 month period and I still think it's fantastic! The hotel is located in a residential area of Tucson and it is quiet and unobtrusive. Check-in was fast and smooth. I... more

Let me preface this by saying that I travel for work 2-3 days per week, staying at various hotels throughout the country. After doing this for over a year, my standards have become higher and higher and it takes a lot more for me to be "pleasantly surprised" by any one hotel. In fact, I usually stick with Hilton (for... more

I used to live near the Inn and would meet up with friends at the lounge for margaritas and appetizers on the patio. Wonderful vibe, great service, some of the best margaritas in town. We've had family stay there while visiting town and enjoyed lounging by the beautiful pool, again great pitchers of margaritas under the jasmine canopy. The brunch... more

We stayed here 5 nights last year and generally enjoyed it, the breakfast at the pool was very nice, staff were pleasant, etc. Before making reservations you should note: 1. it's an older crowd -- when we visited (during school year) I imagine the median age was over 65. 2. don't eat in the dining room -- very very slow... more

My husband booked a room here when we were moving to Tucson. We were excited to be staying here since we rarely indulge in such 'luxuries.' Overall, I have to say that the experience was disappointing. Maybe if we'd had more time to spend lounging it would have been worth the price, but we got there late and didn't really... more

I stayed in the Arizona Inn several years ago and longed to return with my wife, which I did in July. The Vintage Summer special made the stay quite economical and the buffet breakfast by the pool was a wonderful way to start the day. The Arizona Inn is truly a great American hotel. We will go back! more

I stayed at the Arizona Inn when I was taking the Arizona Bar Exam. I loved the room, it was so cozy and, despite the stress of the bar exam, I was able to relax a little in in the morning drinking a dresh cup of coffee in the cozy robes. I loved how the rooms are unique and old-fahsoned... more

The high points were the afternoon tea and manager's cocktail party, during which the the owner (mother) greeted the guests personally. The drinks (on demand, not well drinks) were excellent. We met other guests at these gatherings which was very nice. The staff was fantastic. Our room, a premium with patio, had beautiful touchs like white marble counters and silver... more

We celebrated our 24th anniversary with an overnight stay at the Arizona Inn. Arrived in sunshine, greeted by friendly desk person, and found out that our reservation for a standard room was upgraded to a deluxe room. Beautiful room indeed ! And, a very large patio outside our room with table, 2 chairs and 2 lounge chairs awaited us. Gorgeous... more
