We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights while on a recent trip to AZ and NM. Warrived late at night without reservatios. The front-desk person quoted us a price, and then went ahead and upgraded our room to a mini-suite. The mini-suite looked newly renovated and had a fridge and microwave as well as little cooktop and some utensils.... more

If you like modern sleek hotels, you'll hate this one. Its old and the decor in the rooms is really dated, the free wireless internet is shaky ( but wired is fine). However, its prettyu well maintained and clean and beds are comfy. I stayed in the "Herbert Hoover Suite" which I was told was a "jacuzzi suite". Turns out the... more

Located on a main road in Tucson. Easy to drive to. Good news is the road is not so busy that road noise is a problem. Neighborhood felt safe. North Oracle Road has some decent restaurants within an easy drive of the hotel, as well as a sports bar that is within walking distance. There is a Swensen's ice cream... more

We stayed at this hotel 3 yrs ago and decided to stay there again for this trip. It was nice, quiet, clean. Good location for the areas in Tucson we were visiting. Our room was a little tight for 2 adults 2 kids. Decent breakfast and went to the social happy hour (2 free drinks) one time. Mostly retirees there. more

Everything was pleasant from the very beginning. They went the extra mile to make our trip perfect. All the exercise equipment, pool, conference room, and suites were great. more

My Wife and I stayed nights of February 5, 6, 7 of 2009. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, courtyard was wonderful in the early morning with thousands of birds, the breakfast was complete and good. The staff was as helpful as possible. The location was good. It is a little out of downtown, but in... more

We are staying in the Presidential Suite here and have been for 3+ weeks and will be here for another week probably. We have also stayed here several times in the past. This is a decent budget hotel. I have stayed in different types of rooms here and they have a good layout. The hotel is nothing special from the... more

My husband & I stayed here fro a week while we explored the Tucson area. It was not as centrally located as we would have liked as most of the areas we visited were "on the on the other side of town". We had a wet bar suite with a small microwave, refrigerator, stove and coffee maker. The microwave &... more

The 2 Queen, non-smoking room we were assigned was immaculate and quiet. Our 11 year old daughter really enjoyed watching TV...especially the Disney Channel and Food Network...2 of the many available network choices (much more expensive hotels often do not provide these channels). Free high speed internet access worked to perfection, and was easy to use (if you didn't have... more

The room was just okay. It was very cold and the bathroom was not very clean. It also had an unpleasant odor. more
