Although it costs more than some other options, it has a great location and the staff went out of their way to help when needed. There is a gorgeous pool and workout room. Parking is free and lots of spaces. The rooms are just as shown on their website. We found the AAA/AARP rate to be much better that the... more

This hotel was not up to the usual Doubletree standards. Rooms were not spotlessly clean; the dust ruffle on the bed was soiled. The lobby and pool area were very nice. Our group was served a buffet evening meal in the ballroom; it was terrible. more

The main two things this place has going for it is the fact that it is cheap (I got a room here in the summer for less than $60 a night) and the customer service is fantastic. Every staff member always has a smile on their face, the belldesk always greets you when you enter the main lobby (although this... more

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 year old. Our stay was good, but disappointing in a few areas. The rooms are nicely renovated and the King room we had was large enough to set up our pack n' play. We never had any problem with noise. Everything seemed to function correctly. We were a little suprised to... more

Only stayed there for a night, this hotel is clean, the staff are friendly, they also have a very nice garden with many trees and plants, you won't believe you are indeed in the middle of the desert. Location is convenient, not far from I-10, also close to U of A, very safe neighborbood. The room had a 42-inch TV... more

Spent a week here for business. It is an older property that has been renovated. The room in the tower was great. Flat screen TV, comfortable bed. The pool was actually deep enough to dive in and large enough to swim some laps. Location across from Reid park was great. It is a good place to run. Co-worker wasn't feeling... more

We had more than a dozen people come from out of state to attend a wedding. Each stayed from two to three days. All were satisfied. Everyone in our party got a room almost adjacent to one another, which made wedding preparation much easier in a relaxed social atmosphere. I requested a suite and the staff converted a connecting room... more

My family and I stayed here several days when we could not get a place over at Las Posadas Casitas. (I've stayed solo at that other hotel and love it to death for its serenity and Spanish architecture). Doubletree is a pleasant place to relax at. But . . . for part of the time we had a smoking European... more

I got bed bugs from this hotel. At first I couldn't figure it out because I've never had it before and there were only a couple bites. I thought they were mosquito bites from hanging out at the pool. The next morning, they were all over my feet. I told hotel management and they didn't believe me and charged me... more

I’d give it four stars, 42 inch plasma TV, no microwave, fridge or safe. There is a tower building but I had a large room in the two story connected wings. Ground floor rooms have patios, second floor only windows. Lovely grounds. Free w-fi. Maybe 20 minutes drive from downtown. more
