Couldn't get to the hotel in the first place- all exit/entrance ramps closed on I10 due to construction- a fact nobody thought to mention when we booked. Worst was, there were 8 teams of high school kids staying there - another little "fact" that was not mentioned. Between the kids in the pool all night screaming & yelling, and them... more
We went the week of the gem show in Tucson and this was the only place we could get. The parking lot was filled and we could not park there because the gem show public could use the parking spots and none were reserved for the paying guests. The room did not have any towels or wash cloths and we... more
I stay for 4 nights and needed a place close to the University. The location was great! It was literally 5 min to the University and 20-30 min to the Desert Museum, all on the same road as the motel. I do think this was more a motel than hotel, but I was a very satisfied customer. The staff was... more
As previous guy said, this looks like a hotel on the Ramada website, and pictures, but is laid out like a motel. The quality of the room matches up with it's 3 star status, but your door opens onto the street (and I was approached for money by a bum as I was unloading the car) The Union Pacifc trains... more
The benefit for you and I (but possibly not for the Hotel...err...motel...) is that the HSIA - High Speed Internet Access - that is free in all rooms, means I can get you my review live, as-it-happens, as opposed to after I get home. There, see...I said a positive sentiment. So, while we're at it, let's get the other couple... more
I'm a little late with my review, but I just made another reservation for 4 nights in March and noticed there were some bad reviews of this motel. It's true this isn't a resort or spa motel for either it's location or ambience, but for a decent clean motel it is very good. We stayed here last year for just... more
We were very disappointed with the hotel. The staff could use a course in "customer service". They were unfriendly, and I felt I was annoying them, if I asked for anything - like towels and washclothes. One of each is not enough, and that is what we found when we got to our room. The room was dirty, especially the... more
great location !!! close to saguaro n.p. , pima air base , san xavier , old tucson studios , arizona sonora desert museum !!! clean rooms for a great price . perfect for longer stay !!!! more
This motel is a former LaQuinta. The decor is exactly like the one we stayed at in Phoenix, but the rooms are smaller and not as well-lit, nor was the bed as comfortable. We paid $69.00/night for a king-sized bed, and the room had wireless internet access. This is not a bad price for Tucson in the high season, I... more
