Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The lobby and courtyards are absolutely charming, with fountains and twinkling lights to welcome you. After that, it's all downhill - literally, our room sloped down, and the whole building shook with every step. Our room was large, but the bathroom and kitchen areas were not clean. The room smelled strongly of insecticide and Fabuloso. Most of the hotel was occupied by a large group who kept asking us what room we were in - very strange. That group made a long line at the coffee pot in the morning, but they weren't allowed to touch the breakfast - only a brown bag for them. I'm guessing whatever was in that bag was better than the wet eggs and squirting sausages provided to the "first class" guests. Definitely not worth the $237 plus tax Choice was offering on their app.

Hotel's Favourite
This was our second stay at this hotel. The young man at the front desk was super nice and accommodating. Our room was spacious and clean with upgraded floors- although I do recommend a small throw rug on wet days as you will tramp water over the floor when coming in since the floors are all vinyl. Eenne was super helpful when my husband had to print some tax documents. Highly recommend this place for a nice place near the National Park.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you walk through the door it looks like old Tucson on the inside. Fountains in the courtyards, potted plants and flowers everywhere, and personal touches make this hotel the very favorite Comfort Suites we've ever stayed at. The hot tub is hot, the pool is refreshing and there are free weights in the exercise room.

Awful. The guy at the desk was however very nice. The room was so sketchy I only went in long enough to charge my phone and make a reservation somewhere else. The room was on the first floor of kind of a mini-courtyard with almost no lighting outside the door. Very very creepy laundry room right next door with absolutely no lighting whatsoever. Seemed like a great spot to lurk and wait for someone. The room had a window looking out onto God knows what. The whole thing felt so grossly unsafe. I could have kissed my Uber driver when he got there. And it was $200?!?!? Dismal and dangerous.

Would NOT stay here again. I would have liked to have left in the middle of the night but kept hoping it would get quiet. Not sure what’s going on at this hotel but thinking halfway house or less fortunate housing but the hotel should have been transparent. This is not a family hotel. There were doors around us slamming in the late night / early morning hours. Men outside our room yelling at each other with all sorts of expletives. Traffic noise. Honestly I did not feel safe. Not a Choice property quality hotel. Super disappointed in this property.

Comfort Suites are NOT 3 star properties, they are a budget hotel. I booked it based on the star rating and hoped it would be ok. Drove up to the property and it just didn't sit right. It didn't look like most comfort suites I've seen. Its an old building in a shopping mall parking lot. Went inside to speak with front desk. Told them I had a reservation but wanted to see a room. Old, dirty, smelled of cigarette smoke. I told the employee the I did not want to keep my reservation. I had a reservation for 2 nights, they charged me for 1 because it was past 4pm.

We enjoyed our night at this courtyard-style hotel. Our king suite was on the second floor, near the back of the property (farthest away from the street, nice and quiet). Clean room, comfortable bed. The pool area and fitness room were open, although we didn't use them. Breakfast was a grab-and-go bag consisting of an orange, a fruit-and-cereal bar, a pastry, a bottle of water, and a choice of a microwaveable breakfast burrito or croissant sandwich. Coffee was limited to the in-room coffee maker. No doubt the "normal" buffet breakfast would have been better, but this provided an adequate alternative. It was also nice to see a recycling bin as well as a trash can in the kitchenette area.

This building was an old low income apartment complex turned into a hotel. This place is so overrated and overly priced. Nothing special. Spacious room and no noise unless you get a room with that has an adjoining room and you hear everything. I called the front desk and the phone jack was missing. In fact, a big hole in the wall where it was. Then the usual long black hairs on towels and in the shower walls that the front desk did not care when I brought these issues to their attention. Speaking of the staff, they were not friendly at all and could not wait to get into my room. Management, your reply to this post is a sign of weakness and unprofessionalism. Nobody cares what you say.

If the breakfast, workout room and the hot tubhad been open, this hotel would most likely have garnered an excellent rating. Very Good does describe what we encountered, which was a very nice room, small pool and peace and quiet. When we are contemplating another in town getaway, this Comfort Suites will be our chice,

The pandemic has hit the travel industry hard. This hotel is no exception. The breakfast has been canceled. They should have kept the lobby coffee but that has also disappeared. The pool is fairly small and the jacuzzi has been out of service for at least 6 months. I have only stayed in the economy pet friendly rooms. The touch of Mexico-Southwest courtyard is unique. The carpet in the pet-friendly rooms look like a random design. Hidden in the design are two dogs a cat and two persons. Nearby to the hotel are Walgreens, Walmart, Safeway, Walmart and Costco.
