We were in Salem for a wedding, and this hotel definitely sufficed. The room was extremely small (front door hit a closet and the bed when opened), but overall it's a nice historic hotel in a great location. We rolled into salem with no reservation on a weekend in october. We luckily snagged their last room.....$179 for a room in their adjacent little B&B type residence. Room was nice, bed was very comfy, tiny tiny shower, otherwise very spacious and well appointed. Only drawback....and this was huge, was that we were in room 1-1 which was 1 thin... more

We just got back from our trip to Salem. The hotel is very nice. Check in was fine and the loby is beautiful. The room was clean but very small. We had one queen size bed in our room. I see in some other pictures that the other rooms were alot larger. Keep that in mind when you make reservations.... more
