Stayed here at the end of Oct '08. Only complaint is that for someone not accustomed to San Antonio's Freeway System it is a confusing place to find,enter and exit. Do NOT stay here unless you like dirty and old and outdated. I was appalled at the condition of the hotel and the room's furnishings. If you are flying in and out of San Antonio, the location of the hotel could not be better. Plus, if you book on their website, the esaver rate is a great deal. After getting my room key, was concerned about being placed next to an ice machine or elevator. Stephanie at front desk said if anything is not to your liking come back and we can move you. This was like the 11th time I have stayed there. It is convenient to the airport, great evening snack and drink service (Managers Welcoming) 2 business computers to use, clean, always friendly. Booked the "deluxe" king room for two nights at the Drury Inn, mostly based on reviews here. The hotel's location is great, easy access to The Quarry, Brackenridge Park/Zoo, SAT, and downtown (an easy drive down 281, less than 10 minutes). I also enjoyed most of the "free extras". The Drury Inn Airport continues to maintain my business. It's a good price, close enough to downtown and shopping. Kids love the afternoon snacks (pizza, salad, popcorn, hot dogs, etc) adults love the free drinks and everyone loves the hot breakfast. Rooms are always clean and spacious.
