First of all want to give a shout out to the front desk staff Linda, Carlos and the manager of the property who's name escapes me but all three of them were absolutely wonderful to me; I actually ended up staying there for about 10 days because I was looking for an apartment in San Antonio; the rooms were very... more
We stayed at the Red Roof Inn San Antonio Airport for two nights this past weekend. Pros: Friendly staff, rooms were very clean, shower had hot water and high water pressure, comfortable beds, extremely cold A/C, and close to airport, restaurants, and shops. Cons: Small pillows, charge $10 for a 24 hour period of wireless internet, only rooms with a... more
Stayed here 8/8-10/2008. This hotel has been recently remodeled and it felt as if we were the 1st ones to use the newly remodeled room (although we were probably not the first). The rooms were very clean, as I always check the baseboarda & corners to tell how well the cleaning staff do), the bathroom is small but has granite... more
My husband and I stayed here one night during April 2008 after the Final Four. We had a 6am flight and decided to save a little money and stay at the airport our last night. We had a non-smoking king room on the 3rd floor and our room had been renovated. We basically slept there for about 5 hours and... more
Hotel was under renovations during our stay, having stayed at another Red Roof that was renovated, it will be awesome when they are finished. We stayed here over MLK Weekend and was close to many places and restaurants. This is where I always stay when i am in SA....... more
Stayed June 10-13, 2007. We had a hard time finding the hotel with our online map because Plymouth Street dead ends. It's not on a main road and tough to get to. If you can take the Jones-Maltsenberger exit (the 2nd one) off 281 North, turn left at light, right at next light which is Ramsey, then go to Plymouth... more
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night. We used Hotwire and got booked here. The hotel appears to be a clean hotel with no obvious issues. Our room was in good shape and ready on time. Hotwire had booked us a smoking room with two beds and the hotel gladly let us change to a non... more
Just got back from a week-long family vacation to Texas and our last night was spent at the Red Roof Inn. We agree with previous reviewers that the place was difficult to find - we had to call from the road twice for directions. The front desk person disappeared after checking us in and the reception area was empty the... more
First of all, don't expect a resort or even a three star hotel. At best, this is a 2.5 star hotel. When I look for a place to stay that is reasonably priced, I look for an interior versus exterior property (for safety reasons). It turns out this hotel is both. The first level is exterior, and the 2nd/3rd levels... more
