We asked for a quiet room and got the quaint artist studio on the Bonner home property. It was very private and beautifully decorated. The owners are very helpful and the breakfasts are delicious. There is a gorgeous pool on the property, or you can sink back into an antique sofa in the living room with the many books provided... More

We had an incredibly pleasant and comfortable 5-night stay at the Bonner Garden B&B Studio room. All of the positive reviews posted about the Inn on the B&B.com site are accurate and mirror our experience. The Herbolds run the B&B seamlessly with a lot of special touches that really made our visit very enjoyable and memorable. The attention to detail... More

I stayed a week at this B&B with two other people. We all had seperate rooms. The female running this place was rude upon arrival. I thought I may have taken her out of context and may be a bit too sensitive until later the other two individuals made a comment of her rudeness. I have stayed at several B&B's... More

We loved our five days at Marji and Jim's beautiful home. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Marji's breakfasts were fantastic. Besides the fresh fruit, juice, coffee and fresh baked breakfast bread every a.m., we also had a freshly prepared entree! It was such a pleasant way to start each day - relaxing over breakfast and sometimes visiting with other... More

The stay at the Bonner Garden was exactly what we needed from our busy lives! Margi & Jim were very friendly, and made us feel right at home. It was not a bad drive to get to some of the wineries we were visiting that weekend! Great location! The breakfast served each morning was delicious! I absolutely loved the banana... More

My husband I stayed here for 3 nights for our 15th Anniversary. We stayed in the Studio which is separate from the main house and it was perfect. Marjorie is amazingly pleasant, helpful and awesome cook. Breakfast every morning consisted of fruit, some sort if bread and a main dish, it was a great way to start your day. We... More

Seeking a quick weekend away from Houston, we decided to drive to San Antonio. We knew we did not want to stay near the hustle and bustle of RIverwalk night life so looked for a nice B&B further away. This was an excellent choice. It is in a quite, residential neighborhood, a 15 minute (or less) drive from Riverwalk. Previous... More

We've stayed in many a B and B and this is one of the best. Margie and Jim were great hosts. The breakfasts were unique and delicious. Free wine and beer were available, nice treat! Public trans was right on the corner or it takes only a few minutes to drive to the river walk. The large pool was welcome... More

We really enjoyed our visit to Bonner Garden B&B. The place was just beautiful and the hosts were amazing. The breakfast was great, the bed comfy, and it was definitely worth every penny. I must say, if we return to San Antonio, we will stay on the River Walk. I hated the traffic and driving in SA, and the river... More

In planning our trip to San Antonio we decided to avoid the crowded Riverwalk area and find a comfortable B&B a short distance north of downtown. Are we ever glad we did! We have stayed in many B&Bs in our travels, but Bonner Garden provided our best experience ever. The classically beautiful building is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood,... More
