Stayed at the Hilton for a quick overnight on the RW. Pros: location is right on RW near restaurants, water taxis, shops, and Alamo plaza. HH members stay on the 6th floor which is well taken care of, all rooms have a small balcony (river or city view), check in was easy, self parked for $22/night. Cons: not too many.... more

Recently completed a stay at the Hilton Palacio del Rio and what stood out was the location. It is located on the riverwalk and directly across from the hotel’s riverwalk entrance is the dock for the river boat tours. The hotel was nice, but the rooms were a little dated and musty. I enjoyed being on the riverwalk, but there are better hotels in town for a better value (Drury(s)).
